Stepping fully into love
Stepping fully into love
I recently asked a male friend, “What are men really looking for in a woman at our age?”
After a thoughtful pause, he said, “They’re terrified of strong women.”
That answer stayed with me. Because at this stage of life, many women become strong — not through force, but through truth. We’ve lived, loved, learned, and we no longer settle for half-hearted connection or love that asks us to shrink.
Feel Your Way Home: An Invitation to move
So many of us spend our lives in our heads — thinking, planning, striving to keep everything together. Yet beneath the surface, our bodies are quietly asking to be felt. When we ignore their call, we lose touch with our intuition, our energy, and our natural sense of aliveness.
“Head on a Stick” to Living in Flow
There are moments on any embodiment journey when we realise — almost with a jolt — that we’ve become numb. Not from pain this time, but from comfort. From ease. From the illusion that we’ve arrived.
I recently recognised that I’d become what I often call a head on a stick — living from the neck up, guiding others through movement, therapy, and energy work, yet quietly disconnected from my own desire, vitality, and sense of aliveness.
Let Your Sensual Body Bring You Home
Allow your body to lead you back into balance and belonging…
As autumn ripens around us, nature reminds us of the beauty of slowing down and receiving. The trees release what they no longer need, yet their branches are heavy with fruit — a perfect balance of letting go and abundance. This season invites you to do the same: to soften into your body’s wisdom and allow your own inner fruitfulness to emerge.
Merge to Emerge
As women raised in a patriarchy, we are taught to see our bodies as others see them. We look at ourselves in the mirror but through others’ eyes. Instant judgment - too fat, too thin, too old, too……..
We instantly ‘other’ our bodies.
How does it feel to ask for help?
I don’t know about you, but I struggle with reaching out for help
When you’re healing, or growing in new ways, there are crisis points. A doorway stands open, a choice point which invites a commitment, because to make a choice means to turn away from something. To cross a threshold means leaving behind something or someone.
It’s a choice FOR yourself. And it can look like a crisis, a stumbling point.
Moving through that crisis point calls on your strength, sometimes all your belief in yourself. And it can feel lonely, because ultimately you are the only one who can make that next move.
But that doesn’t mean you have to do it alone.
Just a few spaces left on my equinox retreat!
How many times have you started a project, a new habit perhaps or a new job, on fire with enthusiasm? And how many times has your energy, your commitment to that new thing, dwindled and waned?
Whenever we cast an intent for a new project or chapter in our life, we are powerful creators.
But that isn’t the whole story.
Come home to your body this autumn
Feeling called to move your body?
To gently come home to the sensuality of your physical being?
Getting curious about the ways your body can be an oracle? A mirror? A loyal truth-teller?
Try this powerful reframing technique!
You’ve heard of ‘affirmations’. But how about ‘afformations’?
An afformation goes like this. Instead of declaring “I am beautiful/abundant” (which your mind might resist if it doesn’t feel true yet), you ask a positive, empowering question like:
Your strong and resilient body
How do you feel your own strength? How do you know your own deep resilience?
As I’ve grown older, I’ve learnt the wisdom of softness and rest as much as I have embraced a love of feeling the strength of my body. I have learned that I need a balance of both. Some days I really need to hit the gym and work out hard. Other days it’s a dance at home, tending to my tiredness or the rawness of an emotion that’s passing through my heart. Another day it might be a walk with a friend, moving together and sharing stories as we go.
Will you celebrate abundance with me?
I’m popping into your inbox this week with an armful of abundance. Right now, as harvest season approaches, I’m loving the ripening fruits, the golden fields and the full-on plentiness of late summer.
It’s a feast for our senses. An invitation to soak up fecundity from the earth herself. And we are meant to revel in this beauty, to use all of our senses to open our hearts and stir our passion for life.
If you REALLY knew me..
Hello and thank you for being here, this one is a personal one
Once upon a time I did a coaching immersion with Preston Smiles who is a profound coach. One of the things he asked us to do was to introduce ourselves by saying 'If you REALLY knew me you would know...'
Its a fun game. One of authenticity. Did you know that recent studies show that THE highest frequency for anyone isn't what you might think LOVE, nope, it is authenticity.
Think about it...when you are being authentic things might feel a little edgy, you might get nervous, heart pounds, faces flush, you might even 'glow a little' with perspiration.
Why you might ask?

Are you up for adventure?
It’s holiday season. And while that can be fun, for some of us it brings a whole lot of stress and anxiety. Because, if you’re travelling to an unfamiliar place, meeting strangers and coming out of your comfort zone, anything could happen!
So how do you roll with adventure? When things ‘go wrong’, how do you respond?
Your invitation to deep presence
Are you always in your head? Thinking, planning, working things out? Here’s an invitation to step outside your own thoughts, even for 5 minutes.
When was the last time you had an adventure? Maybe travelling. Maybe meeting someone new. Maybe taking up a new hobby.
How’s your silliness level?
Silly, mischievous, playful, disruptive. All of these are alchemical energies we own, at any age.
Adulting can be serious work. Bills to pay, deadlines to meet, people to care for. But we all need to let go and let loose sometimes. We need to shake it all out so we can reconnect with our purest, joyful essence. To reclaim our love for life.
Saying No to empower your boldest YES
I don’t know about you, but around this time each year the energy goes CRAZY! All the dream-seeds I tended back in the spring have taken off in full growth mode. And it’s beautiful…and bonkers…and I get to experience all that I’ve said a full-bodied YES to.
How to enter the river with stillness
Open with the very essence of your being. Find the pause within the breath, the still point between outbreath and inbreath. In that space you are nothing, yet part of everything.
This is the place of wisdom, the vastness where everything is one. You are part of the greater matrix of this life, this planet.
Move closer. Listen
Come closer. Closer to the still place where we share everything and yet are nothing.
This is the place of wisdom, the vastness where everything is one. You are part of the greater matrix of this life, this planet, all sentient beings. And in this still, vast place, nothing is a mistake.

Who is holding the keys to your heart?
We give ourselves away to others in relationship, but how do we stay empowered and centred in our own heart?
When other people feel ‘too much’
When we’re in the midst of personal change, we need both cocoon and connection.
When life throws you into personal change, it can feel so overwhelming that we need to withdraw from the world for a while. This is the cocooning stage of transformation, and it’s needed as we clear out old habits, old personality traits and relationships that belong to our ‘old self’.
