Stepping fully into love
I recently asked a male friend, “What are men really looking for in a woman at our age?”
After a thoughtful pause, he said, “They’re terrified of strong women.”
That answer stayed with me. Because at this stage of life, many women become strong — not through force, but through truth. We’ve lived, loved, learned, and we no longer settle for half-hearted connection or love that asks us to shrink.
So many women I work with are waking up to their worth. We’re no longer willing to take the scraps that are offered or play small to be chosen.
Instead, we’re choosing ourselves — our voice, our sensuality, our boundaries, and our longing for real intimacy.
In my own past, I settled out of fear — fear of being alone, of being “too much.” But deep down, I know this is a collective story. Many of us have carried it. The truth is, when we begin to trust ourselves, we can soften again — not as weakness, but as strength.
Softness is what allows us to meet love fully — to give and receive without armour. To know: I am enough. I am loveable. I am worthy of being met, wholly and tenderly.
