Merge to Emerge

Your body knows so much, but how do you access her wisdom?

As women raised in a patriarchy, we are taught to see our bodies as others see them. We look at ourselves in the mirror but through others’ eyes. Instant judgment - too fat, too thin, too old, too……..

We instantly ‘other’ our bodies.

As if we were separate from our own flesh.

As if our bodies weren’t a deep repository of strength, resilience and love.

And all the while we are taught to look outside ourselves for validation. To seek beyond ourselves for the answers, for wisdom. Yet the truth is this…

.. our bodies know

They know our history, they know our emotions and all the ways  in which we avoid feeling them.

Our bodies know where we store pain as patterns of tension. And they know how to release those patterns. To surface what we have pushed down because we didn’t have the support or safety to look at it in that moment. Grief, anger, rage, loss. And also joy, bliss, even ecstasy.

How would it be to love your body enough to listen as if she were a dear friend? What story might emerge if you allowed it to move through the temple of your body?

You are invited to bring your body home, into a circle of  safety and love. To take a break from ‘othering’ her and instead merge with her, with how she moves, with her impulses and yearnings. To let her wisdom emerge.

Join me for ‘Merge to Emerge’. Three hours to come home to your body. An exploration of what you are longing to embody, of what longs to emerge, through you, into life.

We meet together in *circle to set our intention* for the morning with cacao (from  a very special place in Costa Rica I have visited), moving into a dance journey through which I will safely guide you into your Truth.

There is nothing to get right. Nothing to get wrong.
