I burned my diaries last week.

I burned my diaries last week and felt more liberated than I have in years.

Not because I was hiding anything shameful.

Not because I was running from my past.

But because I realised I was keeping them as evidence of how far I'd come... and that very need for evidence was keeping me tethered to who I used to be.

Letting go of the need for proof

Some of us keep diaries to remember.

I kept mine to prove.

To myself, to the universe, to anyone who might doubt that I'd done the work.

Look, here's proof I was broken.

Here's proof I suffered.

Here's proof I transformed.

But here's what I know now.

The most revolutionary thing you can do is trust that your transformation lives in your body, not in your documentation of it.

Your body already knows

I know how far I've come not because I can compare today's journal entry to one from five years ago.

I know because of how I feel when I enter a room.

I know because I no longer wonder why I'm here.

I know because I have the courage to speak my heart even when it feels vulnerable.

Your growth doesn't need evidence.

Your healing doesn't need documentation.

Your body already knows.

The question isn't how far you've come.

The question is:

Are you present enough to feel it?

A gentle invitation

If these words resonated with you, perhaps they are an invitation to trust the wisdom that already lives within you.

If you'd like to explore this work more deeply, you're warmly invited to discover my current offerings, writings and upcoming events.

In grace, with a wild heart,
